I signed up with eHost a week ago. Due to "a bug in the system" I was completely unable to do anything with the site. After several calls I had no resolution and canceled the service. Now they have my domain and are making me pay for that and in essence, I'm not getting a refund. Look elsewhere!
Ehost has been the worst experience I've ever had with a host. I should have known this due to the really low price. even with priority support (that i paid for) wait times many times nearly went over an hour.
whether by phone or by chat... you will wait. when after they erroneously billed me a third time i had finally had enough and told them i was leaving, they "suspended" my sites. That was done out of malice. Hard to believe they would risk that kind of behaviour with an already ticked off ex-customer. I would tread carefully dealing with them. they literally are vindictive
Scum. Were unable to get my site up. Period. After the 3rd call I bailed and went elsewhere. They still owe me a refund and refuse to pay. BEWARE. I would bet high that most of the reviews are phony. They blame the problems on the browser or other client issue to cover the fact they are incompetent. And then they stiff you and make you file complaints and card contests to get your money. They can keep mine, I'm going to let the world know what they really are.
Very bad support and customers service. Cumbersome navigation on their site. I also have some of my websites hosted with another large vendor. PErformance and technical support is night and day. Ehost is impossible to work with. I am with them for years. It is gotten worse. Now my account is not even recognized. They should hire a few teenagers to get their service back up and running. Dont waste your time and money. They are not worth the effort.
I payed 150 USD for 3 years hosting and after they proccess the payment they asked for 5 different papers for verification of my id. I send some of them but they did not accept and it took more than 1 month to refund the money. They keep my money for 1 month for no reason. Funny part is they actually said they thatdont have any reason for asking the id verification, that was just a random check. LOL!
